A big inning is defined as any inning where a team scores 3 or more runs.

How do BIG innings happen?

Statistically, over 90% of BIG innings contain one of the following:

1) A walk

2) An error

3) A hit batsman

1) Get ahead of hitters

2) Make the routine plays!!!!!!

3) Make smart decisions in the field

Offensively, how do we make BIG innings happen?

1) Put the ball in play. Make the defense make the plays.

2) Good discipline at the plate. Make the pitcher throw strikes.

3) Stay heads-up on the bases.
